Methodology#

Members are the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq, reconstituted annually — tech-heavy, and unlike the S&P 500 it can include foreign-domiciled firms and excludes financials. Weights are sourced from the tracking fund's holdings as disclosed to the SEC on Form N-PORT — a public filing whose percentages already embed the index's float adjustments and capping. Because SEC portfolio filings are quarterly, we anchor on the latest one and roll each weight forward daily by that company's price move, so the number stays current between filings. Returns are total returns (dividends reinvested). Share classes may appear as the index lists them. See Nasdaq-100 returns by year. Past performance does not predict future returns; not investment advice.
