Methodology#
Members are the 30 companies in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, chosen by committee (not by size) and price-weighted, so the highest-priced shares move the index most. Membership and weights come from the tracking fund's Form N-PORT filing and weights are rolled forward by price. Returns are total returns (dividends reinvested). One row per company, not per ticker: when a company has more than one share class in the index — Alphabet's GOOGL and GOOG, for example — the fund files them as separate holdings, and we combine them into a single company whose weight is the sum of its classes. So this list counts 30 companies even though the index lists slightly more tickers, and Alphabet appears once at its full weight rather than twice at part of it. Past performance does not predict future returns; not investment advice.
