Who we are

ChartRow is published by ChartRow LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, which is the data controller for everything described on this page. Reach us at [email protected].

Information you provide

If you join the ChartRow Pro waitlist, we store your email address, the price shown when you joined and any feature preference you choose. If you separately join ChartRow Weekly, we store your email, weekly cadence and consent record. If you create an account or contact us, we also process the account or message information needed to provide that service.

Cookies and similar technologies

ChartRow sets a small number of cookies, and keeps some settings in your browser:

• Essential — sign-in sessions and security, set by our authentication provider, Clerk. Without these you cannot sign in or keep a watchlist.
• Preferences — your theme and similar view choices, kept in your browser's local storage on your own device and never sent to us.
• Analytics — the providers named below set cookies or identifiers to count visits and measure performance.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential ones will break signing in; blocking the rest changes nothing about the data the site shows you.

Analytics and service providers

We use Google Analytics and PostHog, along with ordinary server logs, to understand which pages are used, how quickly they load, and where errors happen. These providers process technical information such as the pages viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. Clerk provides accounts and sign-in, and Cloudflare serves and protects the site. Email addresses you give us are never sent to analytics, and we do not sell personal information or email lists.

Advertising

ChartRow does not currently display third-party advertising, and carries no advertising or social tracking pixel. If that changes, this section will name the advertising partner before the first ad is served. At that point third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at Google Ads Settings, and out of many other vendors at aboutads.info.

How information is used

We use this information to operate and secure ChartRow, understand which features people want, respond to messages, send material Pro updates when you join that waitlist and send the weekly market brief when you separately join the newsletter. We do not sell personal information or email lists.

Your choices

Pro and newsletter emails will include an unsubscribe method. You may also ask to access or delete information you provided by emailing [email protected] or using the contact form.

EEA and UK visitors

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the information you gave us, to object to or restrict how it is processed, and to complain to your national data protection authority. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these and we will respond within one month.

We may update this policy as ChartRow evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
