Members are the S&P 500 constituents chosen by a committee at S&P Dow Jones Indices (size, liquidity, US domicile and profitability rules — not simply the 500 biggest). Membership and weights are derived from the tracking fund's SEC N-PORT filings (rolled forward daily by price); fundamentals from our SEC EDGAR pipeline. See each page's methodology for details.
