Every list can be read six more ways

A list, the screener, a watchlist and a fund’s holdings can now be shown as a multichart (the names’ price lines in groups of ten, rebased to 100), a calendar of every year’s, month’s or week’s return, a scatter of any two columns, bars of the column a table is sorted by, each name’s drawdown from its peak, and its contribution to the group’s return. Each view opens with one sentence saying what it shows, and the link you share keeps the view. Try it on the Magnificent 7 or on SPY’s holdings.

Top performers over 10, 20 and 30 years

Top performers ranks stocks and ETFs over any period from one day to thirty years, on price or total return, with each long figure also shown as a compound annual rate (CAGR). A company listed partway through a period ranks on its return since listing, and only once it has at least half the period behind it.

Mutual funds, and every ETF in one directory

The ETF directory lists every fund we carry by category, with its holdings a click away. The mutual fund directory adds funds whose own prospectus confirms the total returns we compute, year by year, for at least five straight years — a check most of the candidate funds failed, which is why the list is short.

Market breadth with the S&P 500 as it was

The S&P 500 breadth page can count the members at the time rather than today’s, back to 1995. How that list was built is its own post.
